The 11th Annual October Open House hosted by the Charlene Marsh Studio and Gallery is scheduled for October 17-18, 2020, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to celebrate the autumn season, share new oil paintings featuring Yellowwood Sate Forest and other local inspirations, and sacred geometry chakra fiber art and yoga mats. Enjoy beautiful Brown County as the fall colors are changing.

Oil Paintings, Painting Demos, and Hands On Painting Experience

Plein air and studio oil paintings by Charlene Marsh will be on exhibit and available for purchase. Marsh will be conducting painting demonstrations throughout the event. There will be paints, brushes, and supports available for anyone who wants to try their hand at painting. All materials are non-toxic and safe for all ages. There is no charge to create and take home your own painting.

Fiber Art

Marsh’s hand dyed, tufted fiber artwork, Massacre in the Brown County State Park, that has been on exhibit at the Indiana State Museum until just recently will be highlighted. The museum exhibit, Cause & AEffect: Art that Speaks Out, featured twelve Indiana artists who have used their art to raise public awareness on a variety of topics including: human and animal rights, political and environmental issues.

Yoga Mats

Her line of 100% natural tree rubber yoga mats that feature sacred geometry and the chakras, based on her fiber designs, will also be available. You can try out your asanas on the yoga mats and pick the best one for you.
